Delaware Psychiatric Center Wilmington, DE
Development of a site master plan that transformed DPC’s 19th century, 100-acre campus into a park-like setting. Program elements included a new psychiatric hospital; identification of buildings to be preserved; and reorganization of existing campus roads, parking and open spaces. Native plant materials were researched and specified to create wetland areas that would blend with and enhance the natural landscape. All aspects of the project are being designed with the intent to obtain LEED certification.
