Philadelphia Corridors Philadelphia, PA
The Restore Philadelphia Corridors program is a $30M multiple city agency collaboration for community enhancement and revitalization. Over fifteen streetscapes are part of the overall plan including improvements to sidewalks, crosswalks, lighting and street furnishings. Wells Appel’s contextual design process included collaborative community engagement bringing together stakeholders, City officials, Community Associations, and non-profit organizations to develop designs that were expressive of each neighborhood and meaningful to each community.
